Hi guys,

Just bought my new rig on the weekend its an 03 4.8 ST and has a 4" tough dog lift kit already installed.
I was crawling around under the car last night and noticed where the brake lines meet over the front diff they are bolted basically directly on top of the pumpkin and mine is not. I didnt want to just bend it down and rebolt it as it is sitting about 50mm above atm. im assuming maybe there is meant to be some sort of extension bracket but have done a load of researching and cant find anything.

Can anyone else on here running a similar lift let me know how there setup is?

Thanks a lot guys.

Lee.

Hi mate, have you got a pic? the brake lines should have been extended when the lift was done. maybe they were ignored? If they are too short they will stretch and potentially fail.

Normally the rear main line is transferred to the front and a new longer rear is added.

Thanks mate thats what im thinking. Ill take a pic at lunch. If theres not much slack in the line ill assume they havent been done and put some aftermarket jobbies in there.
