Hey there
I,ve just bought an old 88 gq lwb wagon that i'm going to modify somewhat, it is currently has a 4.2 gas/petrol mtr that i thought I might replace with a v8 diesel or maybe a perkins six.
Any suggestions or advice would be welcome
Cheers James from tassie

Hey James welcome to the forum mate.
Congratulations on purchasing a mighty 88 GQ, you won't be sorry............I upgraded from a 2007 GU to a 1988 GQ, best thing that I ever did.

Should be quite a rig with a transplant like that.
Keep us up to date with the build and plenty of pics.
Ask away with questions and search for threads on this subject.
