Will a series 3 Instrument cluster fit series 4 patrol

Gday everyone,

So I’m doing a series 4 interior swap in my series 2 patrol wagon one of the thing Ive come across is my instrument cluster is different to the series 4, plugs are different and also the shape,

My question is can a series 3 instrument cluster fit into a series 4 patrol? I know they are different in the shape of the front shroud but can you use the shroud of the series 4 cluster and fit it to the series 3?

I don’t have a series 4 cluster yet I’ll hopefully have it before the end of the week.

Also I have a Td42 in mine but the series 4 cluster I’m getting is off a 3lt common rail will this work with the Td42? Thanks

hi mate, im doubtfull your replacement cluster will work as a plug and play install. you would likely need an updated loom? killa kustom looms i think do stuff like that? i have no xperience wit your issue but i know the S4 clusters are definitely specific to the model, including manual or auto, di or crd etc etc

Yeah you can mate. You will need to change the entire dash though. Dash panel, radio facia etc etc. But its definately doable.
