View Full Version : Can a 4 inch lift be put down to a 3 inch lift ?

Can you lower a 4 inch to a 3 inch what will it take can you just put 3 inch springs in and adjust the panhards ?

Yeah that'll be fine it's just like sagging springs

I want a 4 inch lift and I was thinking if I got done and needed to go back to a legal 3 inch lift I would do that

Pretty sure 50mm is highest legal without engineering, but I could be mistaken.

Why don't you keep it at 3 inch lift, cut the guards and run 37's for play tyres. Chassis height will be pretty much the same as 4in lift 35's, but with extra diff clearance

So the documents attached to that say you still need certification with suspension lift over 50mm.. from an "approved person"

So yes you can have a 3 inch engineered legal lift were as before you were limited to a 2 inch suspension lift
