Just bought myself my first GU and its only a rolling body. Just wondering if there are any tips, tricks or wise knowledge I need to know before undertaking it

Hello and welcome to the forum. The GU and GQ both suffer from a poorly designed rear spring mount. There are a few different kits available to strengthen them.

It would be better to post your question in another section, as there are a lot of members who don't look at the the introductions.

what are your plans motor wise.
I brought a superior engineering kit its bolt on rear shock kit cost me about
$400 and expect the same to have it fitted
