GU has mod cons like coil springs and A/C. G60 does not. But does have the ‘cool’ factor.

Agreed. The 60 is a classic and hard to find. Patrol utes are a dime a dozen so if the need ever arises can be replaced easy. Not the case for the 60 though.

Exactly plassy Katrol answers all the GU questions. I know which one I’d prefer, I have a soft spot for the 60 and I do love the v8s. And at $75 a year for reg, it’s a winner for me. Now to convince the old boy.

Yeah just got my $761.50 GU annual rego notice. That's 10 years for the G60! If it's not a daily then I'll change my original response and go for the classic!
