How hard is it to fit an oil pressure gauge to a ZD30 CR?

Do I really need one?

Can you get oil pressure readings with a scanguage?

Unlike the DI which essentially has a low and high pressure switch I believe the CRD has a low pressure switch and also a pressure sensor which sends data to the ECU... While I don't use a scangauge (I use Torque phone app) from memory I can see my oil pressure via the app.
