Hi All,

I have recently fitted a 4" stainles snorkle, rear facing. Also fitted TB-42E EFI manifold, XF Falcon throttle body, simple gas ring conected to a RD-25/30 air filter and OMVL converter.(See my members ride section, under "MY TROLL").

Question is, do I need to a hose from snorkle/ intake to breather on gas converter? I have heard that it is needed on front facing snorkles, but need to know if it is needed on rear facing. If it is needed, does it need full vacume or only light vacume? Does run ok, but fuel consumption has gone to sh*t, from 450k- 100lt, down to 300k- 100lt. Any help from anyone would be great.

With Thanks Jeff

Hey mate

This is one for Tony me thinks, but the balance pipe you're mentioning is usually for forward facing to balance the ram effect of the air when going down hills/cruising at speed when you're not on the accelerator (hence little fuel, but heaps of air). Not sure it'd make any difference for a rear facing intake?

A LPG specialist may be required to answer this one, I don't know enough about OMVL converters to answer this one.

Hi all,
Thanks for the replies, unfortunatly there isnt any LPG tuners in my area, I have to travel about 100km to the nearest town with a lpg place, which would mean a day off work, I will do a bit more research on the net.
With Thanks Jeff.
