The Hose that goes from the top of the Tappet Cover to the Air Inlet after the MAF Sensor takes the Crankcase vapours back into the Cylinders where it is mixed with Air & Fuel and Combusted.
Can this Hose be disconnected as it is fouling the Air Inlet and must be detrimental to the Air/Fuel Mixture.

Can someone advise WHETHER REMOVING THIS HOSE CAN HAVE A DETRIMENTAL EFFECT ???

Disconnecting the PCV hose is illegal as it is an emmissions control device. Best bet is to fit a catch can or PCV filter like the Provent 200. Fitting one of these will filter out the oil mist while still allowing the blowby vapours to be drawn back in to be burnt.
