you sure its a cane toad? legs are pretty long? wouldnt it be more likely to be a green tree frog or something like that? they have a habit of squeezing into cool dark places?

Does appear to look like an unfortunate dehydrated GTFroggie to me too Bakerkingfish mate, clearly not your fault mate!
Only ever lived up FarNQld for some 12 months many years back yet do remember they were like Shawshank Redemption dunny magicians greeting ya each morning, coffee spilt every which way in terror once learnt :-) !
