Hi Just wondering how hard it would be to replace coil in my TB45 engine, I think I cold do it or should I get it done by a mechanic they quoted me $300.

Depends on how handy you are , what tools you have and what you value your time at? I can do mine in about 60 mins a side after setting up for it and finding all the gear. Its not hard, just need to approach it from a safety perspective and you should be ok. I use a combination of coil compresser and jacking the vehicle as I don't have a hoist. I have had coils swapped over in the past and cost was between $200 and $250 from memory.

my method was 2 ratchet straps on each coil and then jack up from the chassis and pull the coil out.
i would not recommend this at all though highly dangerous
to undo the straps i used a long screw driver so my fingers were as far from danger as i could be, while also shielding my body.
do as i say and not as i do..
i didn't wanna pay for tools that i could only see myself use once.
