Hi to all here!
Been a long time searching for a Patrol over here in the UK, really wanted a Y60 but they are rare and rotten generally, as well as costing a bomb.
My other half and I are very happy to have got a Y61 as a 'lifer', we plan to properly service and restore this, as well as modifications to enable us to go off grid camping, mountain biking and generally exploring! Obviously the latter is vastly limited compared to you lucky lot on Oz!
One other reason for getting the Patrol is we are hoping to relocate to Australia in the not to distant future, and would love to ship out a pre kitted Patrol!
Hopefully with the aid of this forum I can find valuable information that is generally lacking over here, as well as mod the truck sympathetically to the Australian regs.
