A Mate and I are going Camping at Carters Beach on the Murray over the Queens Birthday
Weekend in June. Actually going up on the Thursday and coming home on the Monday. If
any members would like to join us they are quite welcome. The Location is as follows :-

GPS S:35 49.308 E:145 27.214

Access is via Ulupna Bridge Road north of Strathmerton. From Strathmerton take the signposted Bourchiers Road north for 6km and then turn left into a road signposted 4km Ulupna Island , follow this for 1.6km then turn right into road signposted Ulupna Bridge Road. Follow Ulupna Bridge for 4.8km to entrance to forest. On entering the Forest the road leads 1.5km to Carters Beach. There is a
very good beach with access to the River and also with Toilets.

Attached is a Pic of the Beach.

Should anyone wish to join us please send me a PM

Theres mostly Carp on the Vic side and on the NSW side there are deep holes amongst the fallen trees which house the Cod.
