Is it bled properly? And more so, did you drain the whole system, there is a fair bit of coolant in the block which is a c*** to fully drain.

Shouldn’t it filter back thru as block is heated up?

Because when I reopened cap after driving it the coolant looked the same as when I put it in, you think it’d be different as if it cycled through the block if the other litres hadn’t come out if you understand what I’m saying hard to explain. Hope I’m making sense

Only draining the rad just pretty much just that. There will still be a lot of coolant in the engine block. There is a drain plug on the block too, but I've never bothered on mine. I dont even know where it is TBH.

It's on the passenger side behind the dump pipe. It is an absolute c*** b*** to get to.

It is possible, the thermostat isn't opening and cycling maybe? Sounds strange.

Where did you drain from originally?

Bottom of radiator I think it cycled today took it for like 150km drive must take a lot to get it to cycle I got it up to half temp yesterday aswell. I thought they’d cycle soon as half temp obv not they take sustained temp at half
