I am on my second GQ the first was a 3.0lt and my current is a 4.2tb, I gotta say I’m loving the torque from this motor but the fuel economy is bad, does anyone have any mods to improve to economy.

I am on my second GQ the first was a 3.0lt and my current is a 4.2tb, I gotta say I’m loving the torque from this motor but the fuel economy is bad, does anyone have any mods to improve to economy.Fuel economy and TB42 doesn't really go hand in hand. Best I ever got out of mine was around 17LPH, that was straight petrol on the EFI model, but usually averaged out aroumd 20LPH [emoji2].

Only way to improve economy is to stick to standard 31in tyres, remove roof racks etc..... Maybe get the vehicle tuned. Maybe adjust your driving style and keep your foot off the loud pedal.

Is it petrol only or dual fuel? Carby or EFI? Manual or auto?
