Hi there,
I have a 1989 Y60 which has been cut down from a 5 door safari to a 2 door flat deck ute.
I'm in the process of getting back on the road. It's mostly ok except for some small things and I'd appreciate some help on one of these.
I need to remove the rear disc brake rotors because of wear. I'm having problems getting them to budge.
I've tried using two 8mm bolts, in the two threaded holes beside the wheel studs, to ease it off the axle frange, with some hammering, but no go.
I have thought of using heat on the rotor body but thought that might be risky.
Does any one have any suggestions.
Thanks,
mark.
