Pissing down with rain this morning and freezing so decided to head up the hills after lunch for a bit of a look. Headed up around Mt Strickland towards the Lake Mountain road then back down Paradise Plains Road to Marysville. . . Heaps of snow even through the Black Spur.

Heard on the news over here yiu guys were in for a treat....did the dandenongs end up getting some snow...

Reckon they would have for sure was pretty low. There was a sprinkling through the Black Spur and the car park at Dom Don saddle was packed with every man and his dog tobogganing on the slightest sprinkle. Did hear that lake mountain was closed but. .

Ended up in the ditch trying to get past a Triton in the middle of the road as did another dude in a nice vintage Jeep Cherokee wagon, both had to pull out the winch although could have hooked up the snatch strap to one of his dogs lol . ..
