Yes, I had one on a 1997 RD28T engine, worked well. Simple to install, but you need to consider what you do with the captured oil, either vent it to atmosphere constantly with a drain line or store it in the catch can or the drain line. Mine was constantly vented to atmosphere and unfortunately the hose was not long enough and made a black oily mess on the chassis rails until i installed a small stop valve then dropped the oil periodically.
I used one like this
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ProVent-200-Oil-Catch-Can-Filter-Separator-for-Turbo-4WDs-Pro-Vent/262270218609?epid=2007188179&hash=item3d1085f171%3Ag%3AEycAAOSwBgVa3YLq&_sacat=0&_nkw=oil+catch+can&_from=R40&rt=nc&_trksid=p2060353.m570.l1313.TR12.TRC2.A0.H0.Xoil+c atch+can.TRS0
It comes with instructions of how/where to fit. Unfortunately I do not have any photos for you as the engine was replaced.
