Hi guys I've never done an intro on one of these forums but I though I better, it's a little intimidating!

I have owned my '88 carby GQ patrol for about 7 months and it's my first so will be hard to let go of.
It has slowly been getting little upgrades here and there as I bought it stock apart from the 2 inch springs.
Now has a Piranha electric ignition with dizzy, LED interior lighting, spotties, new sound system, 33" muddies, vinyl flooring, brand new head & radiator, clutch, fuel pump, plus heaps of other little add-ons. It's cost me a fortune but we're getting there.
Next on the list is a steel winch bar... (If anyone has one let me know ;-) )

Now. About me. I am 22 live in Frankston, VIC but am no means a Frankston stereotype.
Been into 4x4's for a couple of years due to my mates having them I just couldn't help myself and now I'd never turn back. I love Australia and our country, forests, camping, beaches, just everything!
I am a lady :O shock? Haha. You probably noticed from my excessive talking? Damn.

Anyway, I have come on here to learn different DIY's and helpful tips on absolutely everything so say hi oh and thanks for having me!

Great! Good to know I'm not the only one here, I don't know of many other female enthusiasts so it will be interesting to see other point of views :)

Good intro Sammi and welcome to the forum!

We are having a forum meet up up at Toolangi on the weekend of the 4th of June.

There are other females coming along too which won't be doing any serious 4wding so if you get a chance would love to see you at the meet up.

Here is the link....Only about 1.5 hours from you straight up the Eastlink.

If your wanting to post up some pics start a thread in the members rides area, start a new thread at top of page, write up about your car and future plans and under that add some attachments (pictures)..
Everyone on here loves pictures Haha
