gq vent control not working

hi all, my vent control isnt working. i have removed the centre console & found cable had come off the control lever, i then checked the cable for any binding & it seems ok. the problem seems to be that the lever on the air vent control box is jammed "cant move it by hand with cable disconnected" any ideas why so guys/girls!

Hmm not sure from memory it just moves some flaps around maybe a pin on one of the flaps has come loose maybe or somethings fallen in and jammed it somewhere. . .

Maybe full of leaves and crap. I have fitted some stainless flywire supported by gal mtting iesh to stop rodents and their crap from getting in. This is view is looking up with the fan and motor removed.
