Howdy

Just a quick one for those hunting seats (like myself). Stopped into Aanvid auto upholsterers today, and they had a look at the seats - essentially they said there is no reason to do the back of the seat as they are in good condition, so they are going to strip the cushions on both front seats, repad them and increase the size of the bolsters on the side to keep my barge @rse nice and comfy, and then recover again - using vinyl instead of leather as I have seat covers anyway. $480 in total for both seats ($240 each), with a guarantee!!!

Pretty happy with that price (compared to $1500-2000 for a set of VY SS seats that don't quite fit, need the rails modified, and would need to be certified).

Just thought I'd post it up as 'food for thought' for those looking to install new seats.

Can you please let me know the level of comfyness compared to the standard GQ seats...

If you don't mind mate, base it on a ten point system.

I would like to give the standard GQ seat a 3 out of 10 rating.

Level 1 would be a stick on the ground and level ten would be a massaging recliner so to speak...lol
