Surely people are taking the piss?

Discussions on other media about performance increase on td42's by using this restrictive device?

What would the benefit be if any?

I want one for the shed wall. 10% increase in floor area and save on all the materials I won't need to buy. Bonus!

And obviously, it will increase the resistance against body and frame corrosion!

The only benefit it will have is to swirl the black and blue smoke to make it dissipate so you don't get pinged. Otherwise, paint your Patrol red cause they go faster.

Maybe called venturi helix swirl mod, for those who just don't get their egts up there to clean her out. Who knows have enough restriction now.

They did from memory. Back in the 90's I remember mobs trying to sell these to us at work. Then it was those inline fuel magnets.

Yep... a Hiclone in the intake another up the back passage, electric supercharger, fuel magnets to align the fuel molecules, throw in a Brock Energy Polariser and a Jet Pilot windscreen sticker and it should mean you save more fuel than you use...

They work like an after-burner without the noise, flame or positive effect. Every TD42 should have one fitted as they stop global warming and increase the density of of plankton in the oceans so the whales can get big and fat and rise to eat the japanese hunters.

However most people fit them incorrectly. If you put them on backwards or inside out, not only they have the all the the pre mentioned advantages, but also they reduce climate change, print money, make people more attractive and cures leprosy.

Might help maintain exhaust gas velocity if it were placed immediately after the catalytic converter.

Pretty sure that photo is a pisstake or someone just has a sense of humor :)
