2.8 td gq 198000 ks 96 model.. pulled up at set of lights n she went bang.never had a problem before it,ran perfect..got it home and pulled the top off motor to find number 1 rod gone through piston.what sort of dramas am i to expect..?i only no the basics on motors...

Probably gunna have metal throughout the engine sump scratched bores, i would expect a full rebuild will be needed sorry to hear it mate
