Sounds like a wiring issue ....

It the Driving Light Switch linked in with the Highbeam, so that you cannot turn the driving lights on without highbeam being engaged too?

Where is the power feed for the driving lights picked up from - I would disconnect and re-connect straight from a fuse off the battery

Nah I can turn on Parker’s driving lights n high beam one at a time no worries there

I recon Yeti's Beast is on the money with earth problem. It may be that the lights are partially earthing back through the gearbox ECU giving an indication that it should change gear. I dont know anything about how to rest it but someone here may. Is Yendor still here? he may know.

Nah, Rodney isn't here ATM, he got wacked with the ban stick.

FWIW I agree with you guys and I would be checking LH tail light earth (and also trailer plug if fitted)... unless OP has aftermarket mods IE extra reversing lamps in which case I would disco them and see if the prob is still there

Checked the lights-wiring-plugs-trailer plug and connectors cleaned them all up still the same. Attacked few earths before it got dark and no luck so far will definitely keep going and checking rest of earths. Thanks guys

If it is an earth problem, I would be concentrating on the rear light cluster earth, and the earth for the driving lights, as these are the two problem areas that you have mentioned.

I would specifically be looking at the Reverse Light problem, as these are connected into the main harness and thus into the gearbox harness through the reverse switching, or the pickup feed for the driving lights, as picking up the power feed for these items from the wrong point can cause signal change at the ECU, causing the ECU to do unexpected things
