Hi Guys first post. Currently in the UK with a SWB 2003 hoping to bring it with me to Australia (Brisbane) any recomendations for garages etc there want to get some bar work done (not allowed bull bars/ brush guards here (nanny state) engine mods etc.Patrols don't have a huge following here and we only get the 3.0 engine but looking forward to exploring your countryside in it

Welcome to the forum. That one nice looking shorty. Wish we had them here. As for where to go in Brisbane. Not sure, there. Wrong state for me. Depending on what look you want too. ARB do a nice bar, Milweld, Raslarr, TJM the list goes one. Not sure if Fatz fab and Radius fab do bar work...

SWB, Looks capable, very good.

For bars (plenty), personally I have a liking for MILLWELD bar work, but they are in Victoria (down sth) and there may be some custom fit for yours. Here is their link, at least will give you an idea what you could look around for.

Many Thanks will take a look if the bull bars are fabricated and welded to the existing Bull bar (ARB) does this have any legality issues in australia ?

Personally, I would leave your front bar as is, add to it, get a new front tube section bent/welded locally (Aust), up to suit your preferred fit/look and then the same down to your side step bars/sliders. Winch considerations may be required and from the look of it your approach looks OK (you know your needs).

Depends what dollars you want to spend. Lots of scope there, could work and look good.

LOVE those GU shorties!!
Very much a pity we can't get them over here!
A pretty good joint to get custom stuff done in QLD is Radius Fabrications ((http://www.radiusfabrications.com.au/)) in Capalaba and Buds Customs ((http://www.budscustoms.com.au/)) in Slacks creek. Have heard very good things about those guys.
Cheers and welcome to the forum.:animierte-smilies-f
