Can anyone tell me what are these relays used for, they are located behind the battery in the fuse box area.
The reason in asking is that I have put a 4.5 into my gq with a microtech computer and trying to clean up the unused components.

The GQ was a TB42efi I assume?
The EGI was def part of the Injection Control cct, can't remember exactly what the NP relay does tho.
A faulty EGI relay would allow the engine to crank but not start due to no fuel IIRC.
Was it an auto or manual?
NP might be Neutral Position

Yes it's an auto, wasn't in the last manual so may be neutral position

About 4 or 5 Patrols ago (and a gazillion dead brain cells) I had a TB42E with the Auto tranny that was also LPG.
I vaguely remember having to fault find that EGI relay when mine blew an injector seal and would piss fuel for a moment even when starting on LPG.
(mine started on whatever fuel selected unlike some that started on petrol no matter what).
As yours is an Auto I am willing to bet 1/2 a can of warm Suffolk (but nothing more valuable) that the NP relay is a Neutral Sensor
