LS1conversion into a 2.8gu?

hey all just thinking of what motor i can put in my gu patrol. i was thinkin about a ls1 on straight lpg with maybe a tubo 400 auto behind it, but not sure how it would go with water crossings. any one have any tips on what can be done to keep them going pretty much under water?? and has anyone done this conversion into a gu? was it difficult??

Also if ya gonna go auto get the TURBO 700, then ya still have overdrive, and as the LS1 has no dizzy as long as ya waterproof ya connections on ya ecu and injectors ya should be pretty right
