A/C Heater control

Hi guys
I have a gu2 and the demister a/c direct air control is stuck in the window demist side of control. has this happened to anyone. Has not been forced and there isn't any thing stuck in the linkages or cable. Is there anything internal that plays up. Thanks

mmm they get a bit stiff . demist is at the extreme end of the control . I took the radio out to have a look at mine . Just be careful not to bend the cable . it goesto the top ofthe heater asy there on the right side . the cable has a nasty habit of bending in the heater control . and then it doesn't work .. (that is bad ) I just replaced the whole assembly .
