Hey guys,

Ive been looking recently towards installing NADS to my 2007 CRD but am the complete opposite of a spannerhead. Just wondering if there is anyone out there who could reccomend any mechanics or 4wd places in PERTH that can complete the task.

Cheers,
Mark

I didn't bother with NADS on mine.

First off, buy a scan gauge (absolute must have for any CRD engine)
Block the EGR,
Fit an EGT gauge
Chip it or remap the ECU
Don't drive it like Miss Daisy, CRDs like to rev and they like to get up to speed quickly and cruise rather than work their way up like the old plodder donks like a TD42.

is the scan gauge difficult to fit?

Plug into the OBDii port under the dash and some minor setup programming and away it goes... easy peasy.
I mounted the display on top of the steering column so it sat between the tacho and speedo

Worth it for the coolant temp and boost pressure alone but will help heaps with learning the sweet spots for fuel economy, actual speed etc

X 2 with ET buy yourself a Scan gauge about $250 or there abouts.
best bit of kit for a CRD Patrol, just plug into your OBD2 port.
Mine is a Di and have the Ecu-Talk and its mounted on the back of the steering wheel.
