Hi everybody. Ive had a GQ td2.8 for the for a while. Its been a great 4x4 and it is my first. I had done some work to it - new heads rings main bearings and renewed all hoses. I had some bad luck and not even 3yrs later split a water hose in outback Queensland and cooked the motor. So ive just acquired a 4.2 and I'm going to put it into my patrol once I've rebuilt the engine. Cant wait to have the bigger motor

Welcome mate bad luck with the 2.8 but you won't be disappointed with the 4.2 ,been toying with the idea of a low water alarm just in case .
