Hi mates,
Just wanted to share all the projects I've done to the Patrol. It's a ZD30 2005 shorty...
A little bit of story: I bought it to a pineapple company who owned it since 05 for about 4K(US Dollars). The car was stopped since the transmission need work for about a year... I owned since end 2016. I bought the dual mass flywheel and clutch brand new and go it moving... another 4k investment... It is a project car. I'm a DIY'er so these are the things I've done so far in order:
1- Clean it, wash it. LOL.
2- Polish it.
3- Death wobbles fix: Panhard bushings / King pin bearings / Inner-outer wheel bearings. They don't call it "Death" wobbles for nothing... Trust me!!
4- Removed hard water stains with a product named Bar keepers friend's(The best one btw).
5- Changed leather cover.
6- Repainted the rims.
7- Fixed the headlamps.
8- Fixed the bumpers.
9- Installed a boost gauge.
I've also did turbo service three times, so kinda n xpert now.
To-do:
1- DIY roof rack.
Here are some of the pics:
