2012 CRD oil temp sensor location.

Hi all, I am installing a red arc gauge in my truck. I plan on using the optional oil temp readout in the gauge. Can anyone tell me where the temp sensor would screw in?

I would believe a good place is the sump. I think there are adaptors out there that screw into the sump plug.

Or an oil filter sandwhich adaptor?

Thanks for that... Sump plug is too low, not viable. Does anyone know where I can get a sandwich adaptor... Thats look like the way to go....
