Hi Guys

I have done a search on the internet and forums

Im seeing alot of this Castrol Delo 400?

Im on 183 000kms now and 2000kms to go before my oil change.

Im thinking of going to try this Delo 400. How much does it cost?

Also I know manual says 5000kms for oil interval changes.

Anyone done around 7500km intervals with good quality synthetic oils?

I also read up some guys have used oil test kits and at 5000kms the oil is still in excellent condition.

Remember these are only questions so I can learn. If 5000kms is imperative then thats what I shall do.

Some say oil filter at every 10 000km while oil is at every 5000kms.

Thanks in Advance. Always good to learn. My first old school diesel vehicle

Thats a decent price. Do we buy from caltex? I never see it in any Autospare places. :)

Oil and filters every 5k.
Delo 400 since it's been available on my '00 td42t.
The oil in these motors carries a high soot load, compared to newer diesels, which is part of the reason for the large sump capacity.
Cheap insurance imo. Mine is always spotless under the rocker cover when I do the valve clearances.
I pay ~100- for 20ltrs at the caltex distro too.
