Hi guys,
After putting the lift in, I have realised there is about a 10mm gap between the tailshaft and the crossmember, which could hit when driven off road. Would any of you be able to tell me how difficult it is to flip the rear tailshaft? would i be able to do it myself?(little mechanical knowledge and no proper mechanics tools)
Cheers:xxxx:

Undo 8 bolts and flip it no dramas

Does any oil come out of the gearbox, transfer case or rear diff that I need to worry about?

Nah mate... well... Only if something was already broken that you did need to worry about anyway

Make sure the seal is in good condition or you will get moisture and dirt into the spline. If you have to replace it, mark both pieces of the shaft so that you can put it back together properly.

Easy to do. As above, 8 bolts to undo, flip, 8 bolts to do back up. Put the vehicle in gear, and into 4x4 with hubs locked so there isn't any chance of the vehicle moving when the shaft comes out.

Very good point...
