Nissan Gu 2.8 Diesel Oil in water

Hi guys l have a GQ 99 2.8 diesel turbo and have a lot of oil in cooling system.
When it happened l opened up coolant bottle and a lot of oil came out and is through the cooling system. A friend said may not be head or gasket , could be the oil cooler so l by passed it and have been flushing the water .lm still getting oil in water . Could it be old oil in water jackets in cooling system.
Any suggestions would be great thanks

Hi mate!
Sad to hear it but sometimes it happens.
Try this method as fast and easy check of the blown head gasket. Use glow plugs instead of the spark plugs.
