Hey guys and girls. Having owned a td42 gq coily for near on 5 years thought it was time for something different and a bit newer as do fair few long trips. Had to be manual and always liked the look of the s4+ gu st and the interior is nice. Looked at a couple but nothing great then found this clean 08 at a wholesalers. When i checked it out it had brand new lift and a brand new set of cheap shit 285 75 17 muddies on it and dual batteries. 170k on clock no service history. Straight away i did catch can egr block egt/boost guage (saas 2 in 1 which no longer works) and a 3 inch turbo back exhaust. Plus new rocker cover gasket glow plugs and a service. Plans are snorkel, some good all terrains, better spotties and maybe ecu remap. Took me while to get used to it but i quite like it now. Feedback appreciated as well as other mod ideas, not keen to go too nuts as mainly just highway and beach work.

Finally got around to getting new tyres yesterday. Falken wildpeak at3w in a 285 70 (biggest size they do) plus finally got a full sized spare. So far after 500ks of city country and wet weather they seem excellent. Going to brave the cold and go camping tomorow so will give them a proper test on the beach. Nothing else new as yet but car has been faultless bar an alternator although it rarely gets driven.

Nothing overly exciting but was going to buy new spotties when I got talked into a hid conversion kit in my current narvas. Absolutely stoked with result!! Also just had manifold gasket egr pipe etc etc done so car seems to be running excellent!!! Next up is a snorkel and some proper guages as my saas boost/egt 2 in 1 is useless!!! Also pricing up a 4 inch lift for her in the early new year.

Clean looking rig (may be a good buy). With a potential remap, this is good option. Have the same veh, no service history either have done my own since 10,000ks and it still runs well. lol
What boost control? If soleniod VNT how is boost behaviour?
With remap say run Max boost 20-22psi, dawes or tillix and needle be the go. Also important to get it breathing well with remap (improved induction).
Your intercooler, what is it and does it look OK?
