Hello guys!

My name is Erik and I live on a small island outside mainland Sweden and just bought myself a GU Patrol.

The car has the zd30 engine and auto gearbox with cruisecontrol and all the factory options. (Wish we could get the Td42 u have).

Some other goodies on the car is:

* Asfir front bumper.
* 3 Hid lights on bumper.
* Superwinch 9.5SR.
* Asfir underbody armor plates.
* Frontrunner roofrack with a bunch o leds on it.
* Stainless 2.5" exhaust.
* Safari snorkel.
* Kcr tuning chip.
* Webasto diesel heater (Sweden is cold).
* Ironman 2" liftkit complete with steering damper.
* 315/70-17 Bfg A/T on original rims powdercoated black.
* A kenwood double din with built in garmin navigator.

Just got this car in the shape it is, the plan with it is to start exploring with it around Sweden, Norway, Finland etc.. And to have it as a daily while I build on my project overlanding car (HJ75). I also own a Bj42 that I have rebuilt from the ground up..

I am also looking at some small mods to the car, lift it 1" or 2" more to fit 35" tires in the summer.
And also a sturdier rear bumper with spare tire swing out and highlift holder from escape4x4.

Not sure going 35" tyres is a good idea with that motor but others may disagree .

Yes it is in a very good condition. U might be right, heard some sad stuff about the zd30.. The thing is that is the only engines we get here, might look into importing a td42 from Poland might be the top choice then for me:icon_driving:

Welcome to the forum, very clean rig indeed , maybe save for a 4.2 conversion in case things go pear shaped.
Have a read on NADS it may save you some grief down the track. Ask anything you want and most of all enjoy yourself.

You don't hear of as many problems from 3L Di's from the other side of the world.....

Looks like a great buy. Hope you have lots of fun with it.
