Replacement rear lamps

I have a GU Series 10 ST (build date 02/16) and can't tolerate not being able to see when reversing at night. I have read the many comments from members dealing with earlier models and ask if anyone knows where I can get hold of the replacement European type fittings with indicators / reversing light/ stop lights for both near and off side. I tow a box trailer and the bumper bar lights cannot be seen above the trailer (and we all know that trailer lights rarely work!).

Ive done the tail light conversion on my series 3 instead of using indicators Ive used them as reverse lights using
120smd leds on each lens . At night its like daylight, I also had a 27 watt flood light but removed it as it wasnt really needed

I've been running the lights that mudski suggested for some time on my 2014. No issues with them, although I've wired them a bit different than normal. Mine are wired to work and plug into the electrical tow connection plug. When their plugged in, all lights function, the new light assemblies & the original fitted lights in the bumper. When I need to tow I just unplug them and plug in the trailer or van which then only enables the original fitment lights to work. This method does not overload the fuse or cable rating when so many lights are running when towing. You could also achieve a lower power requirement buy changing to LED lamps. My set-up suits me as I'm not a big lover of bright LED tail lights, but may not suit everyone. The quality of these after market fittings is excellent and fit perfectly.

Just to add too mate that you will need to add some wiring in to make the lights work as there will be no loom in the car to plug them into.

So are these lights, "factory" light covers with globe holders and wiring... Or are they cheapo china alternatives with globes and wiring??

These kind of lights are pretty well made. Too. I know a guy in Europe who sells led full function lights too. For both GU variants and also GQ's.

Depo make the best quality aftermarket lights. They do a heap of OEM lights to various brands of vehicle. So if your looking for lights, get Depo branded ones.

Thanks to everyone for their advice.
The "12 Volt Guy" just left my house after fitting the replacement lamps that I bought from Bimmer Barn Pty Ltd (trading as MOKAL'S Auto parts in Smithfield. The whole cost was less than $500 (lamps and elect sparks) and now I will be able to see what's behind me at night. Bloody beauty!
