Hi Everyone 1988 GQ 4.2 & 1998 GU 2.8

Recently picked up a 1988 GQ 4.2TD, I will be setting it up primarily for towing, While I have replaced the front Hub seals and bearings, fitted rear draws, bullbar and a few comfort items in the cabin, I still have a lot to do.
* Front brakes get really hot, So may need the rear proportioning valve spring checked ( it has had a 2" lift and I didn't expect that would require any adjustment)
* Engine overheats ( I suspect more EGT issue) when towing. Not sure how to attack that one just yet
Hopefully the hints and tips will help me out.

welcome to the forum,brakes getting hot,make sure the calipers aren't seized,and it over heating,make sure there's no airlock,heaps of info here,easy as with help from a place like this hey..
