What will happen if the egr is blocked .
Bog stock 2001 zd30 patrol??
Has a boost gauge fitted .

Something good, I believe. Your engine's likely to last a bit longer, but wait for the blokes with ZD30s to post what they know.

What I really want to know is will blocking the egr give higher boost than before .

Slightly higher mate but still very driveable. Dont be concerned about high boost on these motors. They will happily run on 25psi daily. Unless the turbo and motor is on its way out.
