Hi all,

So I fitted brand new genuine zexel injectors and a rebuilt 12mm injector pump.
Took ages to initially start and noticed it was advanced too far so rotated it back to centre of the slot.
The car starts now but runs and idles really rough, under revs it misses pretty badly?
Any thoughts, could it just be timing??
Thanks

Not an expert but sounds that way , did you get all the air out of the lines ?
Wish you took some pics mate .

Ok, checked pump and the teeth definitely line up, a z other side of the mark. Turned the pump further towards the drivers side and it idles perfect but breaks up just off idle. Have cracked all injectors and primer pump is solid??
I'm at a loss and have a trip in 6 days 😩

Might be a job for a diesel mechanic mate , there is adjustment that's sealed but not 100% sure on what it does .

Have you got a timing tool?

You really need to have the timing spot on otherwise take it to someone.
