pretty sure I need a new clutch

Hi I believe i am in the market for a new clutch as when i put my foot on the clutch there is a howling noise whilst changing gears and when I let clutch out it disappears and is starting slightly grind when selecting gears. I can sit car at idle and out of gear and noise is there when I put foot on clutch. Car still feels same to drive its just getting the slight grinding and noise. Also what clutch do you recommend and how much do you think it will cost for a new one installed? thanks Mark

G’day Mark, aint much of a mechanic but sounds like a thrust bearing issue? Personally never changed a clutch in a Patrol but big horsepower blokes seem to recommend Exceedy brand I believe, different sizes/models for different needs?

i had that problem... just before the licola snow trip. went with an execdy heavy duty.
