99 GU ST 4.5l

Hi members,
after always wanting to own a patrol, finally bit the bullet and swapped my 09 dual cab trition for a 99 gu 4.5l patrol. not doing enough homework was sold a complete dud and have recently spent $5500 to get it fixed. i am still contemplating to sell as my heart isnt into it anymore.

might it be a better car now you have done the work....

also research before buying maybe would have saved you some coin.. but, as they say - thats life.....

sorry forgot to mention i am from perth.

there was alot wrong. basically where ever it could leak it was. yes it may be a better car now, but i dont think i want to take the chance with it. think i want to cut my losses.

yes i should have done more research, but i was coned as the previous owner claimed to be a mechanic and done this and that. i should have been smarter but i guess i will learn from my mistake.

ahhh, the mechanic's car..... one of the worst to get...... not to worry
