Helped a mate fix his Patrol on Saturday .
It is standard . Why is it hitting 25 psi and then limp ???
Yet when he's cruising at 100kph it's down around 5psi .
What can be done to fix it and why is it doing it ???

Could be spiking, the wastegate actuator could be sticking maybe causing it to over boost.

Any mods at all done? Exhaust, blocked EGR etc etc. Original Intercooler? Probs leaking which will give grief and the odd limp mode hits. NADs wont stop it from going boom too. Thats a myth. But it certainly does control the boost a helluva lot better than stock and those pesky boost fluctuations will be gone.
