Hi All
Having beed a toyota fan with cruisers and Prados for many years, I've decided I want a proper toy and have bought an ST GQ.
The body is in great condition with no rust that I can find, but unfortunately I've overlooked some faults I propablty shouldn't of.
In the near future I'll be doing a full brake and suspension rebuild. Once thats complete I'll put a 2" lift and some 33" tires on it and go terorrise the dunes with my family.
The engine is runnning VERY well. Only has 220k on it.
Biggest bummer is the gearbox. It shifts OK when hot so I didn't notice it when test driving it, but is awful when cold. I'll be looking to buy another and have a go at rebuilding it. The main reason for wanting to have a rebuilt gearbox is so it will hold up fine to an eventual LS2 or XR6 turbo conversion.
cheers
