Hi Guys,
Just a little introduction. Ive recently picked up a GQ RB30 Wagon. 360,000km on the clock, however the body is miraculously straight, interior is also great.
So far ive cleaned it up for a RWC, (Replaced Wheel Bearings, rebuilt swivels, replaced windscreen, set of brand new-second hand (ex VG30) lifters and a tail light lens. Put a set of 33‘s on the factory rims and so far is been a good bus for the last 10,000km.
Im a Diesel Mechanic by trade and on top of my day to day work (prime movers and coaches) find myself working on a range of GQ's and GU‘s. This is what convinced me to get myself a patrol in the first place.
My main reason for joining the forum is gain some extra knowledge to help with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues. I know forums to be a wealth of information and from browsing unregistered there seems to be much to learn here.
I look forward to talking to you all !
