Bessies definitely gettin a bit long in the tooth and so is her tattered outfit.

Thought id do a little research and give her a new dress on a budget. The clearcoat is clearly rooted so i thought id try and remove as much as i could and give it a light sand and re-clear it.

Don't know if this is the right thing to do or way to go about it, but it can be fixed if i screw it too bad. i'll try anything once so the bonnet is my first attempt.

May have gone a tad deep on the change of level....anyone know the touchup code?

Cool looks heaps better. Code will be on the plate in the firewall or inner guard near the washer bottle, should say color / trim or something like that. . .

Yeah I've looked in there but I wasn't sure about the code because there's one number in there but the car is 2 tone.

I was considering using good ol pressure packs but I'd probably save a fucktonne if I used the compressor and mixed my own clear. Anyone tell me their preference for clears?

Shit. I hope the bg7 I used is the same? Mine does have a pearly sparkle to it and I think the blue I was given from autobarn is just flat dark blue

Even with a paint code Autobarn won't get it right. Depends on how fussy u want to be..
