Remove ash tray from centre console

I am going to mount switches in the vertical panel in the centre console of a gu3 wagon.
Does the ash tray just pull straight out?

Wiggle wiggle should come straight out mate.

Open the lid and it lifts straight out. Use the lid as a lift handle.
