Hey guys

Ive recently bought myself a td42 st gu. Its had some work done to it from the previous owner including a 12mm pump, high flowed the stock turbo and he's done quite a bit of other stuff. i know they can chew the juice but mine seems to pump through it. Im currently driving from brisbane to the goldcoast and back every day for work (about 140km's of highway driving) and am using a quarter of a tank a day. On the guage, old mates set the turbo to 13psi. Im just wondering if this is a normal amount of fuel to be going through in this car? If not what would need attention?
Cheers

So near on 600km to a tank? Seems fairly close to normal. Others can effect economy like weights, accessories, tyre tread style and size just to name a few.

My old GU ute use to average between 12-15L/100 for normal day to day driving.

Doest sound too far off. In my wagon (3.9 diffs and 285s) I get a 150 km to 1/4 tank. Tyres/diffs/bars/rrack will all change it.
Is your speedo/odo accurate too? Mine is 7% out so 150km on the odo is actualy about 160km.

sounds about right. I get near enough to 700km/tank on highway driving and I usually sit around the 3 tonne mark on 31's, 4.1 diff and turbo. They do use a bit
