Heya my names Garry 30 from the central coast nsw (near Tuggerah) not a patrol owner at this stage but will be as soon as the right truck pops up for sale. Looking for 2005 or preferably newer gu patrol 4.8 petrol. Fuel economy isn't an issue for me as don't drive far to work on the daily but must be auto so the Misso can drive it occasionally (when I accidentally drink a few to many...again) not a fan of the 3.0litre as have heard too many bad story's. Don't mind the extra power of the 4.8 either. Say hello and I'm more than happy to hear any advice that is offered. Looking forward to experiencing the off-road world

Hello and welcome to the forum mate , 3 litre GU's get a bad rap but lots of the. Out there ,still going after many ks but the bigger motor is always best .
